On Saturday, March 30th, at 9a, the Fremont Garbage Collective will once again spread out around the Center of the Universe gathering up trash and treasures discarded on the streets and sidewalks of Fremont. Can you give an hour, or even half-an-hour, to make our neighborhood cleaner?
The Fremont Garbage Collective generally starts, dressed in blue, at 9a at Ounce of Prevention (404 N 36th St.) However, they need blue angels to also collect litter from farther out in Fremont. Volunteers are needed in Upper Fremont, the south-side of the Fremont Bridge, and around the Fremont Troll. Everyone is invited to give some time to making our community better and brighter.
All volunteers will need to bring their own gloves, bags and a grabber (or tongs) if they can. For sharing the joy of volunteering, gather after your collection with other Collectors at Fremont Coffee at 10:15a – to share stories of treasures found, and another week of successful litter collecting!!
