With the new CD, Pickled Okra has crafted 12 original songs, performed and written by members of the band. Born out of a mutual love of stories and music from eras past, Pickled Okra regularly performs music full of tastes from old-time fiddle tunes, jazzy delta blues, classic bluegrass, pop, rock, reggae and funk.
The band features Todd Gray, a seasoned musician with over 30 years of experience writing, recording and gigging; Tony Markey, a transplant from the theater world with comic tendancies matched to his musical prowess on the banjo; and Paisley Gray, a forceful promoter and talented bass player.
