Got cookies? Need more? The Girl Scout Cookie Sale enters week two this Friday, and reports are that the girls (and their parents) love Fremont! Keep that love going by stopping by cookie site sales to voice your support, buy more cookies, and/or donate to Operation Cookie Drop – to buy cookies to send to our military service men and women around the world!
Three Fremont grocery stores allow Girl Scouts to sell outside the doors. When shopping these stores, consider voicing your approval to the manager about how much you appreciate the support of Girl Scouts, and the sense of achievement the organization instills in girls through their varied programs and activities. As is always the case, those who dislike cookies (?) and/or Girl Scouting (!) will be quick to complain – and it is important that store managers hear from the majority of us who know how great it is to have Girl Scouts here!
This week, stop by these stores to get more cookies – or give $4 to buy a box of cookies for a soldier:
- Marketime Food: Friday, March 9th from 4p – 8p; Saturday, March 10th from 10a – 8p; Sunday, March 11th from 10a – 8p; and Tuesday, March 13th from 6p – 8p
- PCC Natural Markets – Fremont: Friday, March 9th from 4p – 8p; Sunday, March 11th from Noon – 4p (during the Fremont Sunday Market)
- Fred Meyer – Ballard/Fremont Store: Friday, March 9th from 2p – 10p; Saturday, March 10th from 8a – 10p; and Sunday, March 11th from 8a – 10p
As the sale continues, times and locations of site sales do change. Check the on-line calendar/cookie locator to find out exactly where sales will take place. And, thank you for supporting Girl Scouts!
