The week of August 18th, please donate your gently used items to St. Vincent De Paul for ‘Operation Veteran Renewal’.  A collection of sellable and recyclable items will be done in Fremont, by History House, to benefit programs for veterans.  Can you help?

For one week, appointment windows are available for drop-off of items in Fremont at 900 N 34th St (at Troll Avenue & N 34th St.)  Nothing torn, ripped, stained, broken or worn-out can be used, but anything saleable would be warmly welcomed, including:

  • clothing
  • electronics
  • furniture
  • household goods
  • kitchen items
  • media
  • outdoor gear

Also, arrangements can be made for donations of cars, trucks, RVs, boats, or other motorized vehicles.  Recyclable items (bicycles, cell phones, metal desks, electronics, 32”+ televisions, etc.) can also be donated.

Please, contact Paul Nordstrand, of History House, at 206/240-0812 to make an appointment during one of the donation windows:

  • Monday, Aug 18th – 8a to Noon
  • Tuesday, Aug 19th – 8a to Noon
  • Wednesday, Aug 20th – 8a to 4p
  • Thursday, Aug 21st – 8a to 4p
  • Friday, Aug 22nd – 8a to 4p
  • Saturday, Aug 23rd – Noon to 4p
  • Sunday, Aug 24th – Noon to 4p

Let’s help St. Vincent De Paul help our vets!  Look around and find items you no longer need, but that others may enjoy.  Book a time to drop them off – and renew a life.  For general questions, contact John Nordstrand at john@historyhouse.org or call 206/675-8875.

Thank you!
