Give Entertainment To A Deserving Veteran Today!

Help spread the word:  for the last four years, Vet Tix (Veteran Tickets Foundation) has matched donated and/or unused event tickets to veterans, U.S. military and their families, and the families of those who gave their lives for our country.  This Veteran’s Day, help match more tickets to veterans, thanks to Brown Paper Tickets!

“Some of these free tickets have gone without being claimed due to veterans not knowing about them,” said Michael A. Focareto, a U.S. Navy veteran and Chief Executive Officer/Founder of Vet Tix, a nonprofit 501c(3) organization.

Encourage veterans and active military you may know to sign-up to receive lifelong benefits – and free tickets – to sporting events, concerts, cooking classes and other outrageous activities.  Active military, their families, and veterans are eligible for sign-up through Vet Tix, a small way to say ‘Thank You’ from a grateful nation!  Since 2008, Vet Tix has distributed more than 478,000 event tickets around the entire U.S.

As of July 4, 2012, Fremont based Brown Paper Tickets has partnered with Vet Tix, and has helped event producers donate tickets to Vet Tix with just one click.  During the first eight weeks of its partnership, more than 3,300 tickets were donated – without any media/publicity notice.  The world’s only Not-Just-For-Profit ticketing company has become the largest single donor of tickets to servicemen and women through Vet Tix.  “We think that saying ‘thank you’ to those who have served our country is the right thing to do every day, not just on Veteran’s Day,” explained William S. Jordan, President and founder of Brown Paper Tickets.

With one click on the Brown Paper Ticket website, an event producer can donate tickets to Vet Tix, and/or allow ticket-buyers to purchase extra tickets to be shared with veterans.  For information on how to donate tickets to veterans, go to Vet Tix, or visit Brown Paper Tickets.
