As the Seattle Public Library goes through the process of upgrading its website, to make it easier to use and to evolve to meet patron needs, they need input about drafts of new website designs. The public can view a short video (about 5 minutes,) and comment on the designs on the SPL website (click here.)
Designed in 2003, the current website provides patrons with electronic, remote access to SPL services. However, a redesign meets requests under the 2012 Library Levy for a strong website that would be a ‘virtual library’.
Please visit the SPL website and give comments on the draft by 5p on Tuesday, August 8th. The Library has previously sought feedback, and intends to test and gain feedback again in the next few months – to launch the new site in early 2018.
