About The Photo:  The photo, entitled ‘Peace Portrait,’ was taken of B.F. Day students, in 1997, singing songs of peace, to send a message of peace to the world.  The photo went on cards sold to raise money for enrichment programs at the school.  The card was made possible through the generous assistance of Adobe Systems Incorporated, along with the efforts of Seattle Seaplanes, Tom Collicott, American Music, Jo Daly, John Coronata, Quadrant Corporation, K/P Corporation, and Deborah Brown.  Inspiration, and leadership, came from past B.F. Day Principals Sharon Hatcher and Carole Williams.
