Last weekend, audiences were treated to the opening of an exciting and adventurous evening of theater – written by James Lyle and directed by Zachariah Robinson, both frequent contributors at Fremont’s own Stone Soup Theatre. The Playwrights’ Theater production of ‘To The Naked Eye’ challenges nearly all preconceived – and often gut-level – notions about nudity.
These six comedic vignettes paint the canvas of our multi-faceted perceptions of nakedness. This poignant, thought-provoking and funny evening strips away preconceived notions to reveal three simple truths:
- Naked people are beautiful!
- Naked people are people!
- Naked people are funny!
Through June 28th, go see ‘To The Naked Eye’, being performed Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at the Cornish Playhouse Studio, in Seattle Center. Tickets cost $20, general admission, with a special discount on Thursdays for those who attend in the ‘clothing optional’ category. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets.
