Got Gently Used Junk? The FAC Wants You – To Donate It!

This week, from 6p – 9p, on Wed – Fri, the Fremont Arts Council needs donation of cast-off treasures, expendable collectables, and dismissible relics.  Look around…is there anything that you no longer really need, but someone else could truly treasure – and might pay the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) to buy?

At the Powerhouse (3940 Fremont Avenue North,) volunteers are waiting for supporters of the Solstice Parade, or anyone wanting to get rid of quality junk, to drop-off gently used household items.  Furniture, clothing, books, linens, lamps, sports equipment and the unusual or rare items that once delighted, but now grow dusty, will be sold during the upcoming Monster Rummage/Jumble Sale!

Being held over two weekends – April 2 & 3 and April 9 & 10, from 9a – 4p – the Rummage Sale will raise the truly vital seed money to get the 2011 Solstice Parade launched.  Can’t give stuff?  Help out by coming to buy, or working a shift at the sale!  Contact Sonia Telesco if you have time or talent to give, instead (or in addition to?) of treasure…
