Halloween looks to offer plenty o’ fun this year, particularly for the short of stature and life-experience among us. That is, of course, for the children!
On Saturday, October 27th, the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club is offering their annual Halloween Hoopla again – and this public event has nearly everything a munchkin (or witch, or ghost, or Dracula) could want! From 6p – 9p, enjoy carnival games, a cake walk, arts & crafts, trick-or-treating, a ‘Cream the Counselor’, and Frankenstein’s Lab. For the older youth, take a stroll through the ‘Haunted Hotel’! Activities do require the purchase of tickets, with $1 to buy 5! For more information, call 206/547-7261 or visit the Wallingford Boys & Girls Club website.
On Wednesday, October 31st, from 4p – 5p, during Trick-or-Treat In Fremont, Red Triangle (behind the Lenin statue) will be filled with bubbles, and merrily made art! Bubbleman will return for a second year to fill the eyes and minds of audience members – of all ages – with the magic of bubbles. This FREE extravaganza is being sponsored by Heritage Bank. For more information, visit the Trick-or-Treat website, or contact instigator@box2219.temp.domains
In addition, on Halloween night, starting at 7p, there will be a costumed celebration of the birthday of Fremont’s favorite curmudgeon – the Fremont Troll. While not necessarily family-friendly, this celebration will have dancing, drama and diversions for all ages and interests.
Halloween remains one of Fremont’s favorite holidays – have a great one!
