Have you seen rabbit ears sprouting on your favorite Fremont icons?
This bit of guerrilla art attack is coming courtesy the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, and the Fremont Arts Council liaison to the Chamber, David Roman.
Artist Nora Carria created the specialty ears on the Dinos, Lenin and the Fremont Troll.
Other ears, and assorted decorations, came courtesy Fremont Chamber volunteers, a.k.a. Fremont business owners. Folks from Anytime Fitness Fremont decorated the ‘Late For The Interurban’ sculpture, with help on the ‘People Waiting for the Interurban’ coming from students at B.F. Day Elementary School.
According to Roman, “We believe the Bunny Ears are a silly way to show that Fremont is a truly unique neighborhood with a fun, new surprise around every corner!”
Get your photos while you can, and be sure to thank your favorite area businesses for their support, of the art and the Fremont Chamber!
