Heavy Goods Celebrates A Warm Weather Wine At Fiasco

Recently a portion of Fiasco restaurant has been creatively converted into the COVID-19 safe Heavy Goods, where you can shop, on-line, for Heavy Restaurant quality foods and meals, housewares and cocktails, and wine, all available for pick-up at the market located inside Fiasco restaurant.

This month, Heavy Good is celebrating Rosé, a warm weather wine ideal for all seasons.  Why delay gratification when we can dive into the diversity of Rosés right now?  Heavy Goods has a great selection of Rosés in many styles and flavors, as well as Rosé themed tees and totes.  (What else can you carry your Rosé in?)

Heavy Goods particularly recommends:

  • Kind Stranger Rosé of Columbia Valley, Washington 2019 – This response to a world lacking compassion for its fellow humans benefits non-profits, with proceeds from sales of this wine going to Mary’s Place and International Rescue Committee.
  • Helioterra Sparkling Rosé of Applegate Valley, Oregon 2018 – Winemaker Anne Hubatch manages to consistently capture the heart of a grape.
  • Two Vintners ‘Stone Tree Vineyard’ Rosé of Wahluke Slope, Washington 2020 – Dedicated to the brother of winemaker Morgan Lee, who died of cancer in 2018, this homage swings from irreverence to seriousness, and is a total repudiation of white zinfandels of the past, with a sense of humor.
  • Lucarne Rosé of Pays d’Oc, France 2019 – With wines like this, it is obvious why production in southern France exceeds one billion bottles a year – and why they don’t usually have much left over.
  • Fabre En Provence Rosé of Cotes de Provence, France 2019 – If you ever find yourself unable to decide what to drink, make your default rosé from Provence. Seriously.
  • Uva de Vida of Tierra de Castilla, Spain 2019 – It’s labeled as a rosé, but the Heavy folks think that’s just for the lack of anything else to call it. Farmed biodynamically and bottled unfiltered – and best drunk slightly chilled.

In addition, Rosé goods will make you feel better!  Grab an ultra-soft, unisex ‘Have A Rosé Day’ tee from Bella Canvas, and/or a heavy duty, 100% cotton ‘Rosé All Day’ tote.  Or take a look at the puzzles, playing cards or a pocket Mezcal tasting journal!

Heavy Goods has plenty of table items, as well as food to fill the plates and drinks to fill glasses.  Learn more about Heavy Goods, and their wide selection of items, available for purchase at HeavyGoods.com (click here,) and pick-up at Fiasco on Stone Way.
