As you gather, or not, with friends and family, have a table laden with delicious side dishes…everything but the bird, tofurky or other favorite main dish. Spend more time catching up with your loved ones, or enjoying a day free from the stress of cooking, by ordering delicious dishes pre-made. Pick-up your meal on Wednesday, November 24th, from any Heavy Restaurant, including at Fiasco or Pablo Y Pablo here in East Fremont.
These side dishes serve 4 – 6 people (or several leftover meals) and are ready to heat and eat. Choose from:
- Garlic Roasted Mashed Potatoes
- Herbed Gravy
- Roasted Delicata Squash
- Duck Confit Haricot Vert
- Roasted Brussel Sprouts
- Sweet Potato Casserole
- Sage & Sausage Stuffing (available without sausage)
- Fall Harvest Salad
- Corn Bread Muffins with honey butter
- and, of course, Cranberry Sauce
Heavy Goods also has a Thanksgiving Trio of wine available. They recommend this combination:
- Chardonnay – This pairs with the parts of the meal that would otherwise be buried in butter. Heavy also offers the best Chardonnay available in the Pacific Northwest.
- Light-Bodied Red – To compliment, or supplement, the weird cranberry ‘sauce’ that comes out of the car without any alteration to the tinny shape.
- Champagne – To consume in celebration while assembling the feast, and to lubricate what might be an awkward social setting. Congratulate everyone on making it through most of 2021 – all the way to Thanksgiving!! Cheers! Oh, and everything tastes better with Champagne.
