Among many venues displaying art during the Fremont First Friday Art Walk on November 4th, from 6p – 9p, the 704 Gallery will be a pop-up gallery only available that night! For her birthday, artist Tina Anderson has leased the former Portage Bay Goods space to show her paintings and celebrate her works. Check it out, while you can, at 704 N 34th!
At the actual Portage Bay Goods, now at 621 N. 35th, check out the work of “triple-threat” Jesse Oleson, a writer/illustrator/gallery owner. You can see Oleson’s works throughout the month of November at Portage Bay – as with most of the Art Walk venues – but the Art Walk offers the shows to best advantage…and often with snacks and a chance to be sociable.
Check out these other shows:
- At Kylie’s Chicago Pizza, paintings by Jan Tervonen
- At Urban Earth nursery (1051 N 35th,) photography by Daniel Kencke
- At Johnston Architects, digital art and animation by Barbara Robertson – accompanied by sound designed by Johanna Melamed
- At Evo TimesInfinity Gallery, a show by the Arbor Collective with Blaine Fontana and Zach Johnson
- At Brown Paper Tickets Treehouse (309 N 36th,) pen and ink drawings by Zeke Brucker
- At ArtFX Gallery, paint and collage works by Lewis Curtiss Jr.

Regardless of what your tastes, the Fremont First Friday Art Walk has art (and food and drink) to meet it! Come out this Friday, between 6p – 9p, and see what you’ve been missing out on!!
