Help Get SPACE Get Spiffy Once Again

Plenty of work available for volunteers willing to help clean-up the SPACE art installation Photo by K. Lindsay, Aug '12

It’s time to spiff up the SPACE art installation, at N 36th St & Evanston Ave N.  The Fremont Chamber of Commerce and the Fremont Arts Council have both contributed money for equipment and materials – all that is needed now is the people-power!

Over the last two weeks of August, Jessica Randall will lead the clean-up and maintenance.  She needs help from those of every skill level.  Chores include:

  • Erecting/dismantling scaffolding
  • Scrub benches
  • Landscaping/weeding
  • Pressure-wash the plaza
  • Repaint the poles
  • Repair the electrical to the lights
  • Re-hang one of Kim Hall’s lights
  • Re-tint the plaza concrete

Dates are subject to fluctuate – depending on assistance offered.  If you have time, please contact Randall to set up the most productive time.  Questions and donations can also be directed to 360/301-2376 or jessicaeckes@yahoo.com
