Next Sunday, on October 18th, from 10a – 1p, the Friends Of Peak Park will hold a small community work party, and able volunteers are needed.
Can you help with weeding and tidying our public park? The Friends will provide some tools and gloves, along with coffee and cookies – but bringing your own or making donations is perfectly fine. Please RSVP to info@FremontPeakPark.org if you can help, or if you have any questions on this community-maintained green space.
Even if you can’t attend this work party, please consider joining in the bigger job of mulching and putting the garden in the park to bed next month, on November 15th. And help spread the word about these work parties, and the need for volunteers to help maintain our Peak Park.
