Help Rotary, And Win A Trip for 2 To Alaska

The Rotary Club of Fremont has launched a fundraiser, to support their local and international service projects including End Polio Now, Yellow Swings, and sandwiches for the homeless.  Throughout the month of May, members of the Rotary Club at the Center of the Universe, will be selling raffle tickets for a donation of $30 (or 4 for $25 each,) for a grand prize of a cruise for two to Alaska, along with $600 in spending money.

While some Seattlites may not wish to experience Alaska, again, this fundraiser provides a wonderful excuse for supporting the work of Fremont Rotary, and Rotary International.  With water projects in Sudan, regular maintenance of the Dinosaur topiaries in Fremont, support of impoverished youth in Mexico, and gathering books for Northwest Harvest, our Rotary Club has already completed many projects this year worth supporting.  Rotary International has worked exhaustively for decades fighting polio, and has come within a few years of eradicating this once rampant disease.

For those looking for an excuse to escape to Alaska, to feel like royalty aboard a cruise ship for a week, or for a really great gift (at a bargain price,) consider the odds – a maximum of 800 tickets will be sold.

The drawing of the winning ticket will be held June 14th at the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Fremont, in the banquet room of Hale’s Ales Brewery (4301 Leary Way NW), at 5:30p.  For more information, or details, contact the Club’s President, Todd Holec.

Good luck!
