Help Still Needed To Keep Stone Soup Open In Fremont

With only 28 donors giving so far, the fundraising effort to save Stone Soup Theatre is off to a heartening start.  The Indiegogo Campaign has already raised $3,285 of the $5,000 needed – but the goal must be reached to keep this small, independent theater venue open and operating for the coming year.

Please consider giving to help Stone Soup pay its 40% rent increase, and triple net charges.  With only a little over two weeks to go, it is important to keep money flowing in.  If you’ve already given, could you consider sharing this posting with others who want to support live entertainment in our community?

With the staging of the Book-It Repertory Theatre production of its Circumbendibus series at West of Lenin this month, the need for smaller, more intimate venues has been further legitimized.  Without these funds, Fremont could lose the upcoming season of Stone Soup Theatre productions – but Seattle will also lose another precious resource for its struggling theater community.
