The Bastyr Center for Natural Health, located on Stone Way, has been given a matching gift of $5,000 from Mack Urban, a sustainable construction and property management company responsible for a recent remodel of the Center.
In order to make the most of this generous gift, Bastyr has asked our community to help make the match (pledges can be made on-line.) Please help double this opportunity by giving to this 501(c)3 non-profit, and spreading the word, and turn this into $10,000 for neighborhood natural and naturopathic health.
Bastyr Center is the non-profit teaching clinic of Bastyr University, and averages 35,000 patient visits each year. The clinic offers a variety of services, covered by most insurance providers and charged on a sliding scale for underserved populations, including naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, East Asian medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, counseling and nutrition – plus a free series of educational lectures on ‘Living Naturally.’
Bastyr Center partners with over thirty-three neighborhood clinics, serving both urban and rural patients, and patients that range from children to seniors. Bastyr University, founded in 1978, is internationally recognized as a pioneer in natural medicine, and its interns and residents, plus its faculty, help Bastyr Center clients lead a more healthy life.
