For the month of May, the Fremont Historic Society (FHS) has put together a display of photographs, and maps, of area buildings that show the past and present of some of our iconic structures. The display will be on view at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library (SPL) through Tuesday, May 31st.
On Saturday, May 7th, there will be a public reception, with members of the Fremont Historic Society, from 11a – 1p. The reception will be a great time for people with questions or comments on the ‘then and now’ photos to get answers.
May is National Preservation Month and the FHS has assembled this display to build awareness and appreciation for the history of Fremont. Learn more about the FHS through the website. For more information on the Fremont Branch Library, call 206/684-4084 or visit the SPL.org website.
