On Saturday, April 25th, from 2p – 5p, at LTD Bar + Grill, help Fremont honor veterans at our own kind of celebration. This year is the 100th anniversary of the first military action by the ANZAC (Australia & New Zealand Army Corps) at Gallipoli, in World War I. Come celebrate the noble sacrifice of the thousands that died at Gallipoli, and all those who have fought for our right to freedom.
In a tradition that feels very Fremont, but is actually Australian, drink a pint, have an ANZAC biscuit, hear history from a resident Aussie expert, learn about ways to help American veterans in emergencies – and maybe watch some Aussie Rules Football. (Go Hawks!)
Stay for a minute or the whole afternoon! This is a 21+ only event, all the beer is pay-as-you-go, but stop by for free and learn more about ANZAC Day and helping American veterans. For more information on how Fremont will honor its veterans, contact aussie@box2219.temp.domains or see the Facebook event page.
