The Fremont Arts Council, and the Solstice Parade Staff, have set the beginning dates for building the greatest community celebration art that Seattle ever sees.
Please consider showing up for one or all of these events, and lending a hand to the people-powered parade. Watching the Solstice Parade is fun, but participating is far, far more powerful!
May 5th, Noon – 4p – Clean up of the Powerhouse (3940 Fremont Ave N)
May 12th, Noon – 4p – Clean up of the Powerhouse
May 12th, Noon – 4p – Float Move (help shift the float bodies from storage near Gasworks Park to the Powerhouse – meet at the Powerhouse)
May 16th, 7p – 9p – Reception for the Dave McKay Grant Recipient Ensembles (meet the ensemble organizers, and possibly sign on to take part) Location to be announced.
May 19th, Noon – Parade Studio Open House at the Powerhouse
