On Monday, February 26th, at 7p, the Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) will host its monthly meeting at the Doric Lodge #92. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings, and learn more about issues and concerns to residents.
For February, the agenda contains presentations on two developments pending in Fremont – along with opportunities to ask questions and get answers on:
- Mobility Improvements & Bike Lanes On N 34th St, presented by Seattle Department of Transportation representatives (click here for more information)
- Proposed office building for 3524 Stone Way N, presented by the architects (click here for more information)
In addition, the FNC will continue discussion of Waterway 23. The Lake Washington Rowing Club uses a dock there, and public use of the dock has recently included late-night parties and revelries that disturb the neighbors. The Rowing Club installed a gate to limit nighttime access, but this inhibits public access. In February, discussion concerns the Department of Natural Resources leases in the area, and the public access.
Finally, in February, the FNC will also discuss preparations for its Annual Meeting, and election of Board Members, happening on April 23rd. They will also share information on upcoming public meetings on HALA zoning proposals, and the ‘Your Choice, Your Vote’ initiative.
Come hear more about all of these issues, and raise your own residential concerns, at the February 26th Fremont Neighborhood Council meeting. Find out more about this non-profit, all volunteer organization on the website (click here,) or the Facebook page.
