Keep Seattle Livable For All – Weigh In On ‘Soda Tax’

A grassroots coalition of business owners and individuals has launched a campaign to give Seattle voters a voice.  Last summer, the Seattle City Council voted to impose a tax on sugared beverages – soda pop, juices, energy drinks, and iced coffees & teas.  The tax went into effect on January 1st, in spite of there being no voter approval, or disapproval, of the tax.  So, the Keep Seattle Livable For All coalition has created a phone number, 800-397-3228, where voters can voice their concerns, to be shared with the Mayor of Seattle and the City Councilmembers.
