This week is the opening of ‘Eulogy: A Comedy Performance by Kevin Kent.’ This unusual, improvisational performance by one of Seattle theater’s most popular drag queens, runs from March 18th – April 16th, with shows at 8p Thursdays – Saturdays.
‘Eleanor Mae’, a ‘petit medium’ and professional mourner, has the power to connect with ‘the energies that flow from the living’. She will amaze everyone who comes to Bolten’s Memorials, where she will lead this service with memories she conjures from family pictures – provided by those who attend.
Bring your own photos – anything printed – and hear the new ‘body of memories’ and the history Mae makes crystal clear. All photos will be handled gently, and returned at the end of the night.
Purchase tickets now to see this creative theatrical work, newly crafted by Kent with help from Director Jennifer Jasper. Get tickets to assure yourself a seat in the intimate setting of West of Lenin – and to enjoy a new work by the performer a reviewer in The Stranger praised by observing he crafts, “…some of the most inspired improvisation I’ve seen.”
