Literacy Source is registering new students for the Winter 2016 Semester. Adults can attend classes and get one-on-one tutoring for free at the Literacy Source Learning Center in Fremont, across the street from the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library.
Students get assistance with:
- citizenship preparation
- basic reading
- basic writing
- basic math
- English As A Second Language (ESL)
- digital literacy
- GED preparation
In addition to classes, and assistance, in the Fremont center, Literacy Source also offers classes in SeaTac, Tukwila, and Rainier Beach.
Low-income adults who plan to stay in the United State permanently, and have pre-college level skills, are eligible for small group classes and one-on-one tutoring.
All interested, and prospective, students will want to attend a New Student Orientation on January 5th and January 7th. Sign-up and schedule a time at 206/782-2050 or on-line through the LiteracySource.org website.
Please let anyone you know that needs assistance with their literacy skills, in any area, know about this incredible, and free, resource.
