The twice-weekly bulletin distributed by the City of Seattle Department of Planning & Development (DPD) recently reported on these projects pending in Fremont.
At Seattle Pacific University (SPU): A hearing, originally scheduled for July 26th, on an application to construct three new buildings has been continued to August 30th, at 9a, in the Hearing Room (Suite 4009) of the Seattle Municipal Tower. The proposed project would construct a 2-story performance hall, a 4-story academic center and a single story academic center on the SPU campus. It would require demolition of six structures, grading, and relocation of 71 parking spaces. More information on this project can be found on the DPD website.
Subdivision of 3807 Evanston Ave N: An application has been submitted to the DPD to subdivide one development site into two unit lots, only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the residential units on the lots. Comments on this project (#3012455) will be accepted through August 3, 2011, in writing to the DPD, by fax to 206/233-7901 or by e-mail.
Subdivision of 4012 Linden Ave N: An application has also been submitted to subdivide one development site into three unit lots, also only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the residential units constructed on the site. Comments on this project (#3012518) will also be accepted through August 3, 2011.
At Columbia Lutheran Home: An application has been submitted to allow a 1,280 sq. ft. 2-story addition to the existing building. This project may require variances due to the increased size and floor area the addition will create. Comments on this application (#3012260) will be accepted through August 3, 2011.
