On Wednesday, October 22nd, from 5:30p – 8p, the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) will share the latest results from work done among those who work, live and commute through the Westlake Avenue corridor.  The new ‘sidewalk alignment’ plan, for the Westlake Cycle Track, will be shared at Fremont Studios.

At this open house:

  • learn more about the Westlake Avenue corridor
  • view the alignment and see how it has evolved since the last open house
  • give input on parking management strategies
  • speak with designers and project staff, and get answer to questions

The official presentation will take place at 6:15p.  This event is family-friendly, with kids’ activities scheduled too.  Free parking around the Studios is limited.  Consider using METRO buses – routes 26, 28 and 40 directly service the area – or cycling since free, additional bike parking will be available.

If you are unable to attend, visit the project website and submit comments at WCT@seattle.gov or 206/909-8578.
