On March 21st & 22nd, 9:30a – 4p, NalandaWest will offer a weekend workshop with the Venerable Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche on ‘Compassionate Living.’ Registration is still open for this course in the Inner Science of Mind Field of Knowledge.
Many of us aspire to live compassionately, often encountering a challenge to put it into practice. Living from the heart is indispensable, but difficult. Putting yourself in another’s shoes, to see their situation, their emotions, and their struggles, while deliberately forgetting yourself and your point of view, allows you to stretch your heart, to accept, forgive and enjoy others in a deeper way. Compassion breaks us out of our own self-centered isolation and provides immunity to our neurosis. Compassion is the basis of doing good and feeling good, and it overcomes all that is in the way.
The weekend of ‘Compassionate Living’ live costs $150, and the webcast is $40. For more information, and registration, visit the NalandaWest website. NalandaWest programs, like this one, are produced by volunteers, and if you would like to volunteer e-mail info@nalandawest.org
