Lenin To Get Lit on Friday

On Friday, November 3rd, the Fremont community once again observes its odd twist on holiday celebrations with the now annual Lenin Lighting at 5p, in “Red Triangle” at 3526 Fremont Avenue North.

The celebration includes a visit from Santa Claus, warm drinks and live music by the Rabbit Stew String Band.  Come take traditional holiday pictures with the jolly old soul (Santa) and less traditional but oh-so-Fremont photos with the not-so-jolly 20ft tall bronze Lenin.

After lighting up Lenin, sally forth for the monthly Fremont First Friday Art Walk, held from 6p – 9p – among a wide selection of shops, restaurants, studios and galleries with arts and crafts displays, often accompanied with live music.  Find an up-to-the-minute list of venues for the Art Walk on the website.

Both Lenin Lighting and Fremont First Friday Art Walk are free entertainment, accessible by audiences of all ages.  Find out more details on the Fremont Chamber website – or stop by Red Triangle Friday night, and help make the Center of the Universe brighter for the holidays.
