On Monday, January 21st, King County Metro Transit will operate a reduced weekday schedule, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Reduced weekday schedules mean that some commuter and school-oriented routes do not operate, and other routes have individual trips canceled. Also some adjustments are made to routes that serve the University of Washington. Additionally, some bus service will be affected and/or rerouted by holiday events in Downtown Seattle, the Central District, and on Capitol Hill.
Specific reroute details are on the Metro Online Construction & Events page. Also, visit Metro’s online Trip Planner to find out how to get to and from events and locations.
Visit Metro Online for more information on all transit service, or call the Customer Information Office at 206-553-3000, although the Customer Information Office and most other Metro and King County offices will be closed on Monday.
