On March 22nd, the Spring Term begins for Literacy Source, and its students. This learning center provides free, basic education to low-income adults in the Seattle area. The center helps the 1 in 6 adults in the State who lack the basic literacy or language skills necessary for self-sufficiency. Since 1986, Literacy Source has provided free classes and one-on-one tutoring, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, this assistance remains available.
Thanks to volunteers and donors, Literacy Source continues to provide free English-as-a-Second-Language, reading, writing, math, and computer literacy instruction. Find out more about registering for the Spring Term of classes, including citizenship preparation, on LiteracySource.org (click here,) or by calling 206/782-2050.
