On Monday, June 10th, from 5:30p – 7p, at the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library, Literacy Source welcomes everyone to come celebrate the achievements of outstanding scholars.
This month, honor 9 Literacy Source students that finished High School and 32 Literacy Source clients that have achieved American citizenship over the last year.
This potluck celebration will include speeches from students and Magdaleno Rose-Avila, Director of the Office of Immigrant & Refugee Affairs for the City of Seattle.
Come see a presentation of citizenship, G.E.D. and high school completion certificates to these hardworking students struggling to change the course of their lives, and those of their families. This is a community celebration and everyone is welcome!
It is also a potluck, so please bring a dish to share. For more information about this and other Literacy Source programs, contact them at 206/782-2050 or info@literacy-source.org
