On Monday, April 7th, at 6:30p, the Fremont Branch of the Seattle Public Library welcomes another in the quarterly poetry series of local poets reading from their original works, and audience members engaging in a discussion with these published poets about their works.

This quarter hear the works of Sylvia Byrne Pollack, Jennifer Bullis, and Michael Schmeltzer.  Pollack is a Pushcart nominee and winner of the 2013 Mason’s Road Winter Literary Award.  Bullis had her chapbook, ‘Impossible Lessons’, published by MoonPath Press in 2013, along with poems in Iron Horse, Natural Bridge, Cascadia Review and Clover.  Schmeltzer has earned six Pushcart nominations for his works, along with being awarded the Gulf Stream Award for Poetry and the Blue Earth Review Flash Fiction Prize.

Presented in partnership with Floating Bridge Press, this poetry reading and discussion is free and open-to-the-public.  For more information, contact the Fremont Branch Library at 206/684-4084.
