Local Non-Profit Aids In Raising Money For West Seattle Gondola

The non-profit Urban Sparks, started right here in Fremont, helps facilitate and support those projects with dreams for a better world.  These publicly-led charitable works are driven by passion and hope, to educate, organize and make a change in our communities.

Urban Sparks collects donations towards its individual projects, as well as for its work to support local improvement efforts.  You can donate with PayPal, Benevity, donor advised funds, Smile, and Amazon.  Urban Sparks can also take direct donations.  Find out more on its website (click here.)

Right now, Urban Sparks is assisting advocates in West Seattle to build Seattle’s first aerial gondola!  The cracks in the West Seattle Bridge, and its extended shut-down, have led to creative problem solving like a way to swoop people, with bikes, strollers, and briefcases, between Downtown Seattle and West Seattle.  An aerial gondola can be built faster than light rail, and cheaper too at 20% of the cost.  An effective and well-built gondola system could lead to similar conveyances being built around the City, including at the Center of the Universe.
