The incredible annual showcase of comedy/varieté returns to Fremont on St. Patrick’s Day, and audiences can expect to find unleashed revelry, extraordinary performances, new collaborations, and a million laughs at Moisture Festival, but only if they buy tickets now!
At Hale’s Palladium, behind the Hale’s Brewery, Moisture Festival will present four weeks of comedy/varieté, with shows Wednesday – Sunday nights, plus weekend matinees at 3p for families, and late-night 18+ only shows on Friday and Saturday nights at 10:30p.
From March 25th – April 3rd, at Broadway Performance Hall, see the burlesque shows that always thrill and titillate. Moisture Festival draws in some of the world’s most popular and successful burlesque artists to their Libertease.
Over the week of March 18th – 20th, experience the turn of the twentieth century with ‘Return to Le Chat Noir’ at Nordo’s Culinarium in Pioneer Square. This 21+ only food and live performance celebrates the first modern cabaret in Paris, with special French cuisine and wild cabaret acts.
On April 12th & 13th, Teatro ZinZanni will host two special Moisture Festival shows – and every year, these performances sell out. The MishMash Circus Bash, in the spiegeltent, presents the best of the world-class entertainment of both Teatro and Moisture.
In addition to these shows, Moisture Festival will host two special benefit shows at the Broadway Performance Hall:
- April 3rd at 3p be entertained while your ticket purchase helps SANCA, the School of Acrobatics & New Circus Arts
- April 3rd at 7:30p help fund restoration of the oldest surviving music hall – the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall in Glasgow, Scotland. Enjoy a great show, while learning more about the legacy and history this hall contributed to vaudeville.

March 21st, at 7:30p, at Hale’s Palladium, Rob Mermin will give a free lecture on ‘Circle of Sawdust’, with rare film clips to bring alive the mud, myths, mayhem and magic of traditional circus tent shows. Learn about the modern relevance of circus culture with this picturesque history that spans 200 years.
- March 28th, at 7:30p, also at Hale’s Palladium, hear about the legacy of Marcel Marceau and how he brought to life what he called, ‘the eloquent art of silence.’ Mermin will host this discussion of ‘Adventures in Mime & Space,’ with rare film clips and history on Marceau’s work with the French Resistance saving Jewish children in World War II.
