On Saturday, May 7th, the Fremont Abbey Arts Center – Fremont’s homegrown ‘community center’ – will host the 3rd Annual micro-neighborhood festival in Upper Fremont, for everyone who loves a party!
Starting at 1p, the afternoon will be filled with free, family-friendly, indoor and outdoor arts activities including chalk art, live music and educational demonstrations. The B.F. Day School ‘Art Rocks’ benefit will take place at 1:30p, followed by a cello recital, and simultaneous with vegan food demonstrations by Hawaiian chef Mark Reinfeld. In the evening, the Abbey will be filled, once again, with amazing music performances, and all day refreshments will be available through the Abbey Café.
Also look for food specials from area restaurants, giveaways and a wealth of community fellowship as everyone gathers to celebrate spring at the Upper Fremont Festival of the Arts!
