‘Medicine Ball’ Requires No Heavy Lifting At West Of Lenin This Weekend

Medicine Ball 640x480posterartMake it a special Valentine’s Weekend with the ‘World’s Greatest Literary Boxing Match of the Year’ at West of Lenin, called ‘Medicine Ball: Playwrights v. Poets.’  On Friday, February 13th at 7p, Saturday, February 14th at 7p or on Sunday, February 15th at 2p, watch seven short plays and seven dramatic poetry readings – and vote on who you think did it better, playwright or poet?

This year, the ‘Medicine Ball’ writers have taken on the most fearsome topic to face mankind:  Love & Sex.  And at the end of the three performances of these fourteen original pieces, performed by professional actors and directed by Ellen Graham, Katie Haster, Jen Moon and Daniel Tarker, the winning team will be chosen – and will each receive a bottle of Two-Buck-Chuck.  The members of the losing team will be given a warm Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.  So, there are no losers in ‘Medicine Ball’!
