The Hub And Bespoke Slow Ride Speed Date event has returned, for another year of matchmaking single cyclists. This year, Slow Ride Speed Date will divide into two rounds – at 6p on July 29th, for those singles age 35-ish and under who want to meet their match during a ride of the Burke-Gilman Trail, and on August 5th, for those singles over age 35-ish who want to gather, also at 6p, for what could be the ride of their life!
Those who consider riding an essential element in their life can meet, mingle and get-to-know members of the opposite sex who share their view, during short (4-minute) rides along a preset route. Each participant keeps track of their partners – for the good or the bad – in provided booklets, and Hub And Bespoke organizers collect these notes at the end of the evening to be the ones who report back on who might want a longer ride at another date. Yet, all Slow Ride participants can ride together to a local watering hole to further explore any conversations and meetings that proved interesting on the first ride.
To be part of this fun, and social, evening, sign-up now! This is done on a first come, first served basis, and limited slots are available for this free event. Sign up by sending an e-mail to hubandbespoke@gmail.com with your name, gender, age and date you want to ride.
