Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, the May Fremont Neighborhood Council (FNC) meeting will move up one week – and take place next week on Monday, May 19th at 7p at Doric Lodge #92.
This month, the FNC will introduce Beruktawit Giday, Project Manager, of Patrick Place Apartments. This is the new housing on Aurora Avenue built by Catholic Community Services specifically to house those emerging from homelessness. Also, Annie Tran, of Seattle Public Utilities, will talk about the long-term control plan for preventing sewage overflows into local waterways.
The meeting will also cover old and new business of the FNC, the committee reports (including land use, transportation, and the Lake Union District Council,) and announcements from community partner organizations.
FNC monthly meetings are open to the general public, although membership is easy – and pretty inexpensive too! Join through the FNC website, or find out more on the FNC Facebook page. Also, mark your calendar for the June 23rd meeting of the FNC, also at 7p at Doric Lodge #92!
