Starting Monday, June 1st through Friday, June 12th, METRO has announced a re-route for the #40 and #18 Express in both directions from portions of NW Market Street and 24th Ave NW due to construction.

Heading toward Downtown Seattle (and Fremont), routes 18 and 40 will travel via NW 56th St, 22nd Avenue NW, and Leary Ave NW before rejoining its regular route.  From Downtown (and Fremont,) route 40 will detour onto 22nd Ave NW off Leary Ave NW.

As always, visit METRO’s Service Advisories page for more information about revised bus service as well as routing and stops planned for construction and special events.

From June 1st to June 12th, METRO has implemented coach capacity guidelines that may result in longer waits at some stops.  Please ride transit only for essential work, pharmacy and grocery store trips, and wear a mask or face covering.  Thank you for following health and safety guidelines
