Moisture Festival starts on March 15th, but for those unable to wait for great entertainment – and a fan favorite singer – on Monday, March 12th, second-generation MF performer Caela Bailey will be at The Triple Door. Bailey’s first solo show, ‘Who In The World Are You?’, will give audiences a chance to really hear and see this amazing performer, as she brings her bizarre personal journey to the stage for an evening storytelling, music, and humor.
Joined by a misfit gang of musicians, dancers, and circus performers, Bailey will reflect on her past and look towards her future. This show will celebrate her debut album, ‘Gospel Of The Gutter Queen,’ featuring over 50 Seattle musicians and vocalists – and co-written with her father, Ron W. Bailey – released last year. It will also explore the inspiration Caela gained growing up surrounded by street performers, circus legends, burlesque stars, and incredible musicians, as her family traveled and performed around America and Europe.
Brimming with talent and emotional honesty, Bailey keeps audiences firmly in the palm of her hand from the moment she walks on a stage until she hits her last note, or risqué joke. Through music, stories, video, and comedy, Bailey will share tales of growing up in the circus and cabaret world, about navigating the Seattle Public School system, and how she kept her dream of performing afloat by working outlandish side hustles.
