Over the past month, the West Of Lenin gallery has been showing an amazing collection of performance photography by Michelle Bates.  On March 11th, at 7p, Bates will speak on her photography, share images from 1994 to the present, and give the crazy stories behind many of them.

Bates has captured images from all over the Pacific Northwest, including the FAC Solstice Parade (see a small collection of these on Fremocentrist.com, from May 2012.)  The images represent collaboration, inspiration, silliness, loss and awe.  Before the talk begins, the display in the gallery will be open for exploration starting at 6p.

Come enjoy this free presentation, one sure to engage and delight!
