On Sunday, February 13th, 2011, from 6p – 10p, Moisture Festival will hold the most romantic of all fundraisers – for what says love more than square dancing…  At Hale’s Palladium (4301 Leary Way N.W.), the aerialists, musicians and ghost of Mae West invite Moisture Festival lovers, and supporters, to come experience a night of romance.

‘Twas the night before Valentines and all through the house all the creatures are stirring especially the mouse…  Affordable entertainment for everyone, ticket prices range from $50 – $10 (with a special price for MF volunteers) and can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets.   This includes entertainment by Dr. Calamari and Acrophelia, The Canote Brothers, Caela as Mae West with advice for the lovelorn and the first ever Moisture Festival Square Dance called by Charmaine of the Tall Boys.  The ticket price also includes pasta with romance sauce, prepared by Tom Bennet catering plus the loving bread of Essential Bakery.

For the lovers, love-lorn, couples and kids, this is a great way to celebrate the season!
