Starting March 14th, Moisture Festival returns to showcase an astounding array of international and local performers, with skills that demonstrate there is nearly anything the human mind, mixed with a lot of creativity, can do! Now entering its 16th year, Fremont’s annual festival of vaudeville/varieté has built a worldwide reputation as a center for quality entertainment and new circus arts.
Tickets are now available for any one of its shows, at Hale’s Palladium or the more racy Libertease Cabaret shows at Broadway Performance Hall. At every show, patrons can expect the unexpected – and to laugh a lot! Every show line-up is different, and every show is worth attending for its mix of musicians, aerialists, comedians, magicians, acrobats, puppets, and clowns. See awe-inspiring physical and mental dexterity, poignant moments of strength and beauty, and plenty to make you gasp in amazement and laugh from your belly!
With a live show band, these two-hour performances move along quickly although refreshments are available for purchase – along with plenty of Moisture Festival merchandise. The Palladium is a comfortable auditorium (and former keg warehouse) for all ages, with a kids’ seating area down front during weekend matinees and plenty of fine beer on-tap during the more raucous late-night, 18+ only shows on Fridays and Saturdays.
With local, national and international performers on-stage in a steady stream of spell-binding varieté, audiences can expect to see something new and totally unique alongside old favorites several times each show.
