For three weeks, starting Friday, April 29th, Arouet Productions will stage the Terrence McNally play, Frankie & Johnny In The Clair de Lune, at the DownStage Theater of Stone Soup (4029 Stone Way North.) This faithful production, directed by Roy Arauz, will feature Meredith Binder and Greg LoProto in the title roles.
From the website, “Johnny is certain he has found his soul mate in Frankie. Frankie is far more cautious and disinclined to jump to conclusions. A witty love story about what it takes to overcome our fears and take a chance on love.” This intimate play, which won the Dramatists Guild Hull Warriner Award, contains mature material and nudity.
With all tickets ‘pay-what-you-can,’ come experience a local production of a charming, accessible work in the casual and comfortable setting of Stone Soup. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets, or at the door – just don’t wait, and risk missing out!
