On Sunday, July 29th, from 2p – 4p, the 10th Annual Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series continues with another free, open-to-the-public show featuring local musicians performing in the covered courtyard at History House. This week, enjoy the music of Michael Guthrie and Christian Elmer Reise.
Guthrie provides an eclectic mix of folk, blues and jazz with songs about everything from U.S. foreign policy to personal relationships. Throughout his performance, Guthrie’s passion for his fellow man shines through, with superb guitar playing.
Reise has the capability to play one-man band, with folk music mixed with reggae and a beatboxer to make a long story short. Over the years, influences have mixed together Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, and John Lennon to contribute to the culture of Christian Elmer Reise.
This John Nordstrand Production is free to attendees, although donations and tips are appreciated. The Music In The Sculpture Garden concert series is sponsored by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, and supported by generous donations by over two dozen area businesses.
The concert series will continue in July on the 13th – no concert will take place on July 6th. Enjoy your 4th of July weekend holiday, and the music will return the following week!
