M&S Deli Now Has Café Opened Next Door

On April 30^th, the well-established M&S Deli expanded into former storage space, and opened a café serving gyros, shawarma, falafel, cheeseburgers and fries.

According to manager Halymeh Shaibi, the café remains a work in progress. Right now, the hours are 11a every day, to 8p most days except for a 2a closing on Friday and Saturday nights. The menu also continues to evolve and expand.

The M&S Deli café has limited dine-in seating, but with photos of old Fremont on the walls and charming outdoor seating, it has already appealed to some as a nice place to rest for a bite. Shaibi reports, however, that most of their business will be the take-out option.
