Sunday, June 12th, from 2p – 4p, the second free concert in the Music In The Sculpture Garden (MITSG) series takes place at History House (790 N 34th.)
This fun, family-friendly acoustic music experience offers a great respite during a day of shopping the Sunday market – and a wonderful opportunity for live music, for free, on a summer afternoon.
This week, the concert series features the talents of:
- Silver Lining – playing what they lovingly call neo-retro music, this married couple (Kathe Davis and Paul Sandoval) have played music together for five years with THE Other Band (featured at this season’s first MITSG concert.) This singer-songwriter team has dozens of original songs to share with you.
- Larry & Lynette – performing poignant love songs, sweet harmonies and the blues, this duo describes itself, “at our best, on a good night, it’s simple stuff done well that’ll make ya smooth down your chicken skin.”
Come enjoy the concert, held amidst the art of the Sculpture Garden and under the courtyard covering – and then come back, as this open-to-the-public series will go on weekly through the end of July!
