NalandaWest Offers A Virtual Open Meditation Series Beginning Sunday, Feb 14th

Acharya Lama Tenpa is teaching a Virtual Open Meditation through Nalandabodhi Seattle

The Open Meditation series, hosted by Nalandabodhi and NalandaWest, will continue this Sunday, February 14th, from 10:30a – Noon.  ‘Training The Mind’ with Acharya Lama Tenpa is basic meditation instruction, focused on the ‘Eight Verse of Mind Training’ by Geshe Langri Tengpa.

This teaching is particularly useful when encountering negative people.  The verses teach us how to free ourselves from the demon of self-cherishing, and give rise to bodhichitta.  The ‘Eight Verses’ teach us how to remain calm so that we are better able to help others.

The ‘Training the Mind’ series of Open Meditation will be held Sundays through April 4th (but not on Feb 21st or Mar 21st.)  Recordings of past teachings are available to those who register to attend.  Find out more, and register, through the seattle.nalandabodhi.org website (click here.)
